I am an iv meth user and found out yesterday that I am pregnant. How high is the chance of negative effects on the baby?

Meth is methamphetamine, an addictive drug that has serious psychological and physical effects on its users, including a parkinson's type illness, irreversible brain deterioration, malnutrition, serious dental problems, depression, weight loss and malnutrition. It is about the worst drug to take because of these risks. It doesn't normally cause birth defects but at least half of the babies born to meth users undergo withdrawal in the first few days of birth. It's really important for you and baby that your obstetrician knows about your addiction, and that you get professional help in dealing with your addiction. You'll need to be able to look after your baby-and it is very difficult if you still have this addiction. We do wish you well, on what is going to be a very difficult time for you.
